Relationship to LLM Wiki
Karpathy explicitly cited Bush as the philosophical ancestor:

Bush identified the core insight — that cross-references matter more than documents — but could not solve the maintenance problem. Karpathy’s pattern solves it by making the LLM the maintainer.

Why this matters
